Tesla must pay $137 million in damages to a former employee in a discrimination lawsuit.
The man worked as an elevator operator at Tesla's Fremont factory in 2015-2016. He was subjected to racist abuse, like colleagues telling him to "go back to Africa", and said that Tesla employees left drawings of swastikas, racist graffiti and offensive cartoons, while supervisors neglected to halt the abuse. This is reportedly the largest in an individual race discrimination employment case. Link
