Apple court ruling leaves it open for Apple to collect 30% commission from developers who use their own payment methods.
Last week a judge ruled in the Epic vs Apple case that Apple can't block app developers from linking to external purchasing methods. But the order didn't say developers can keep all the in-app revenue for themselves. So Apple could change the terms of the App Store and say that regardless of where developers collect their revenue, they owe Apple 30%, it would simply be more difficult for Apple to collect that commission.
