Alphabet's self-driving car company is starting with selected riders ("Trusted Testers") in SF who can take autonomous rides, free of charge and with a safety operator onboard "for now". Waymo was previously running in Phoenix Arizona on Chrysler minivans, SF will get all-electric, self-driving Jaguar I-Paces. GM's Cruise and Amazon's Zoox are both also working on running robotaxis in San Francisco. Link
