Microsoft has revealed that they will stop supporting the current operating system on October 14th, 2025. That will be just over 10 years since the operating system was first introduced. The next version of Windows will be revealed on June 24th (called Windows 11?). That means Microsoft expects the transition to the next version of Windows to take around four years. Link
