Jeff Bezos and his brother will fly on Blue Origin's first passenger space flight.
The flight is planned for July 20, the 52nd anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. Blue Origin is conducting an auction for another seat on the flight, and the highest bid stands at $2.8 million as of Monday morning, five days before the auction closes. Blue Origin has successfully completed more than a dozen crewless test flights with its New Shepard rocket. The launch date is just 15 days after Jeff Bezos is set to step down as CEO of Amazon. Bezos made the announcement with a video on Instagram, where he invited Mark, his brother, to join him. Link
