Amazon Prime members can now send gifts with a phone number or email address, no physical address required.
This is rolling out to mobile users in the US. There's currently no way to opt out of the new feature which could be a bad idea that is ripe for abuse and online harassment of others. The gift recipient can reveal what the giver sent, then decide whether to decline, accept it but convert it to an Amazon gift card (the giver won't be notified) or, accept the gift. If the recipient accepts the gift, the giver is charged. Link
