Twitter rolls out tipping people with Bitcoin, for all Twitter users on iOS.
Called "Tips", users can tip BTC via CashAPP (by Square), GoFundMe, and Strike. Android support is expected soon. Tipping uses the Lightning network that has lower transaction fees. Twitter also announced plans to offer NFT authentication on the platform, which would be in the form of badges similar to the user verification checkmark (so people would be able to show off the NFTs they own).
