3 US senators just announced the bipartisan bill that would require Google and Apple to allow installing apps from outside their official appstores, and allow alternative in-app payments in their stores. It aims to boost competition and protect consumers by restricting how the stores operate and what rules they can impose on app developers. This basically sounds like Epic's wildest dreams come true.
