Group video calls were announced last year but Telegram only released them now. Audio calls can have unlimited participants, but group video calls are limited to the first 30 people who join a voice chat (for now, they plan to increase that "soon"). They also added screen sharing, noise suppression, animated backgrounds, and tablet and desktop support with side panel and split-screen view. Link
