Venmo will now let you hide your friend list.
After Joe Biden's "secret" Venmo account was discovered earlier this month, Venmo confirmed they're going to let people set their friend list to private or visible only to their friends. BuzzFeed News, who revealed Joe Biden's Venmo account, used public friend lists, which previously could not be made private, to find the president, the first lady, and members of their immediate family. Now Venmo confirmed that they added the "hide friends" feature. There's apparently also an option that allows you to hide your account from appearing in other people's friend lists. Link
