Facebook Meta is dropping the Oculus brand in favor of Meta starting in early 2022.
In a quiet blog post that was posted 15 minutes after the official Meta announcement, Facebook's CTO, Andrew 'Boz' Bosworth said that Oculus Quest will be renamed to Meta Quest and Oculus App to Meta Quest App. He also mentioned that Facebook Reality Labs will be renamed to Reality Labs. Facebook has used the Oculus brand since they bought Oculus VR in 2014. Link
